Katherine “Kiki” Knight is the owner and founder of Strong Families coaching company. She is also a certified Positive Discipline Instructor, and a certified Temperament Analyst. A mother of four, grandmother of five and a former director of a private foster family agency she has trained hundreds of foster, adoptive and kinship parents as well as developed a unique In Home Support Services program which successfully coached families dealing with children exhibiting difficult behaviors. She credits this program for the result of the Foster Family Agency having a less than 3% placement failure rate during her administration.
It was this work with In Home
Support which led to the development of Strong Families coaching company to provide support to a broader
scope of families. In addition to coaching she also presents parenting classes in a number of venues including
Riverside Community College’s Foster and Kinship Care Education Program. In 2004 Katherine was designated
as a Woman of Distinction by the Soroptomists International of Hemacinto & San Jacinto-Hemet Valley as an ‘ideal
role model for other women based on outstanding character, leadership, and achievement’.
